What is Trading Software?
In order to be trading consistently, traders need technical analysis indicators and trading strategies. These trading strategies need to provide optimum entries -- both long and short. Fractal analytics is based upon the concept of Fractal Geometry. Fractals are fragmented geometrical forms, each representing a smaller copy of the whole form, such as a fern, where each leaf is a smaller replica of the larger fern.
The question is...how do we use fractal geometry in trading?
Fractal geometry is used in technical analysis to predict trends. It was first applied to trading by Bill William. He identified tops and bottoms, a bit laggy however. At Shadowtraders, Fractal Analytics is like trading on steriods. We assume that the Market's price follows the geometical laws of form, and therefore we can "count" intraday patterns, just as if we were counting fern leaves. Shadowtraders developed Fractal trend lines that actually appear on your technical chart, completely computer generated real time, not after the fact. Since the software can identify the geometrical forms that we are actively monitoring, fractal trends can now become a true leading indicator, instead of a lagging indicator.
Fractal geometry is not just drawing channel lines, like Bolinger Bands. These are dynamic trend lines, representing support lows and resistance highs. And when support and resistance fractal lines cross, literally putting support above resistance, get ready for a big move.
